Rook
was a black lab/new foundland mix. He loved life, his mom and his
brothers; Bailey and Evan. This urn was created as a surprise gift for
our customer’s fiancee. We collaborated to create the perfect resting
place for Rook, capturing the most important memories. Rook was a stoic
dog. He was in a lot of pain before he died, and never wimpered once.
The most touching scene for me to paint on this urn was of Rook lying on
his side and one of us his brothers resting his head on him, looking at
him and letting him know, it was ok...he could go. Rook truly touched
my heart just like he did with his family.
